Judy Knapp

Judy Knapp of Biloxi, MS passed away peacefully on May 31, 2023.

Born in Minneapolis, MN on August 24, 1937, she is preceded in death by her mother Ruth (Bunnell) Harvey and her father William Harvey. She is survived by her son Ryan Knapp, daughter-in-law Theresa Gordon-Knapp and grandson Alex Knapp.

Judy had several health issues over the past number of years, but ultimately succumbed after a brief battle with cancer. Her son was with her the last days of her life.

She was an avid reader and a news junkie. She possessed a sharp mind, a great sense of humor and a compassion for others. 

A family friend remembered the first time she met Judy. She recalled Judy was a woman she admired for her smarts and social awareness. Not many women of her generation were brave enough to have their own voice; Judy was, just like her mother.

She will be missed by those who had the great fortune to know her and to spend time with her.
