Judy Welch

Judy Welch, 58, of Biloxi, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017. Judy was a resident of Biloxi since 1970 and was a 1976 graduate of D’Iberville High School. She was a singer and songwriter who performed with numerous bands in West Virginia and the Gulf Coast. She will be remembered as an extreme crafter, an avid angler, a lover of all animals and a creative cook. Judy was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Eugenia Lawrence; and brother, Larry Lawrence. Survivors include her sons, Paul Redmond and Justin (Kari) Welch; sister, Carrie (William) Ladner; brother, Robert (Dana) Lawrence; special niece, Christina Allen; and grandchildren, Emma Redmond, Aubree Seymour, Austin Seymour, Memphis Welch and Madison Gardner. Service will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at North Side Assembly of God. Family and friends may visit from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date at Biloxi City Cemetery. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
