Julia May Broussard

Julia May Broussard passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday October 13, 2015 at the age of 78. She was born in Biloxi, MS where she was a lifelong resident. She was an active member of the Biloxi French Club FLEUR DE LIS SOCIETY. She enjoyed being with friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Julia was preceded in death by her father and mother, Lyle and Hilda Ramon; her husband, Henry (Hank) Broussard Sr.; her daughter, Darlene Girouard; her sons, Joseph "Joe" Broussard, Johnathan "Johnny" Broussard, and Keith Broussard; sister, Louise Cameron; and brother, Eddie Norton. She is survived by her daughter, Jo Anna Doyle (Joe); sons, Mark Ramon (Mickey), Henry "Hanky" Broussard Jr. (Dawn) and Scott Broussard (Deborah); sister, Joy Landry (Roland); 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and special friend Tony Smith. The family thanks Deborah Thomas, R.N. for her compassionate care of our mother. Services will be held Monday, October 26, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery. Following the service there will be a memorial at the Biloxi French Club.
