With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Justin Scott Boyd, who left this world too soon on Monday, March 10, 2025, in Freeport, FL. Born on August 30, 1993, in Gulfport, MS, Justin lived a life full of adventure, love, and dedication to his family and passions.

Justin had an enduring love for the outdoors. As an avid hunter and fisherman, he found joy in the beauty of nature, from the woods to the saltwater shores of Florida. His passion for wildlife and the open air was a defining part of his life. He also loved traveling and embracing new experiences, always seeking the next adventure.

At a young age, Justin’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his first landscaping business in Oxford, MS. He carried that drive and determination throughout his life, inspiring those around him with his work ethic and vision.

Justin was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his devoted wife, Angelia Boyd; his cherished children, Venice Boyd, Kellie Bly, and Brandon Bly; and his precious grandchild, Princeton Bly. He will be deeply missed by his parents, Sheri Estes (Scott) and Scott Boyd; his favorite “Uncle Scooter” Mike DeCelle; his siblings, Heather Boyd (Michael Holliday), Kent Rhodes (Lillian), Tyler Boyd (Britney Doss), Braxton Meadows, Christopher Boyd, Ethan German, Samm Wagner (Adam), Sara Rhodes, Coby Shiers, and Drew Estes. His memory will also be carried on by his grandparents, Mike DeCelle, Larry Boyd (Vida), and Gloria Patrick (Robert Allen); along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Justin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marilyn and James Carpenter.

A service to celebrate Justin’s life will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 1726 15th Street, Gulfport, MS 39501. A family visitation will begin at 4:30 p.m. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport is honored to serve the Boyd family.

Justin’s legacy of love, adventure, and perseverance will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. Though he is no longer physically with us, his spirit remains in every crashing wave, rustling leaf, and star-lit night.
