Justin G. Parker

Mr. Justin G. Parker, age 26, of Ocean Springs, MS., lost his courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, September 19, 2010, in the arms of his mother and his wife. Justin graduated from Ocean Springs High School, MGCCC, USM, and was working on his Masters at New Orleans Baptist Seminary. He served in the Air National Guard as a fireman, was commissioned as a 2nd Lt. in the Air Force Reserves and was a Chaplain Candidate in Training. He lead an extraordinary life through Christ and was a world traveler. His passions were running, photography, playing the piano youth ministry and tasting wine. Justin was very compassionate to others and inspired everyone he knew. He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip A. Parker and grandparents, George and Bea McGrevey and George Parker. Survivors include his wife, Alisa Parker, mother, Tricia McGrevey Parker, grandmother, Jean McCallister, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and friends. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 23, 2010, from 11 am until 2 pm, with a 2 pm chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
