Justin Shawn Jermyn

Born to Jason “Zeke” Jermyn, Jr. and Julie Lewis during Thanksgiving dinner on November 24, 1977, a devoted partner, loving father, beloved son, cherished brother and friend, Justin Shawn Jermyn earned his wings on Saturday, December 23, 2023 with his family by his side.

He leaves behind, his loving father, Jason “Zeke” Jermyn, Jr.; his mother, Julie Lewis (Cheryl Lewis); his sister, Jessica Jermyn; his love of life, Kim Ruland; his daughter, Serenity Jermyn; and his son, Shawn Jermyn, who will all miss his make your day smile and infectious laughter.

A quiet “small town boy” that spent his love for life along the waters of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. After graduating in 1997 from Biloxi High School, A “Jack of all trades” Justin settled in, dedicating 20+ years with Radich Heating and Air, to become 1^st class in HVAC and refrigeration. He expanded on and shared his knowledge and leadership as the lead HVAC technician for TEMCO of Gulf Coast Inc. Justin had a love for his work and was a true craftsman that would fix anything he tinkered with. His kindness, dedication and hard work earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues. “Heaven got a damn fine a/c man.”

Justin had a joy in life’s simplicities and real love for the outdoors where he spent his leisure time fishing, boating and beach combing with his two children and the love of his life, Kim at his side. He loved to laugh and was often pulling the best pranks. A jokester that loved to laugh; not many were spared from his good-natured trickery. Justin was a kind and friendly personality with a heart of gold; always going out of his way to help others. He was a genuine and loyal friend to all who have had the privilege of knowing him. A man of remarkable character and his values of life, driven work ethic and unwavering integrity, Justin leaves a legacy of love and wisdom that will continue to inspire and guide us all.

The family wishes to express a special thank you to all who attended and contributed in his fundraisers. Also, a special thank you to The Thanksgiving Golf Club Committee, the health care professionals of MD Anderson Cancer Center and the numerous friends and family for their love and support of Justin in his difficult time of need.

A Memorial Service will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Avenue in Biloxi on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 2:00 pm. Friends may visit from 12:00 pm until service time.
