Karen Bolton Wilson

Ms. Karen Bolton Wilson, age 60, of Ocean Springs, MS., passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2009, in Gautier. Karen was born in Biloxi, MS. and remained a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. She was employed with Civil Service and worked at Keesler Air Force Base and the Gulfport and Biloxi VA Medical Centers. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Ocean Springs. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret McGregor Bolton and grandmother, Gertrude Soden McGregor. Survivors include two daughters, Beth Yates of Jackson, MS. and Denise (Steve) Lacy of Gautier, MS., a son, Scotty Wilson of Gulfport, MS., and grandchildren, James D. Shaffer, Elias M. Lacy and Mackenzie A. Wilson. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 16, 2009, from 10 AM - 11 AM, with an 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial, all at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
