Karen Elizabeth Dennis

Karen Elizabeth Dennis, 49, of Biloxi, MS, passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at Gulfport Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Dennis was retired from the Biloxi V.A. She had been a member of Pentecostals of the Gulf Coast in Biloxi for 30 years and was "Aunt B' for the Children's Church. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Preston "David" Dennis, I, of Biloxi; two sons, Preston David (Natalie) Dennis, II, of Woolmarket, and Patrick Dwight Dennis of Biloxi; her parents, Billy Ray Scarbrough of Ovett, MS and Lucille Kelly of Biloxi; and two brothers, Donald Ray (Patty) Scarbrough of Latimer, and David Earl (Angie) Scarbrough of Woolmarket. She was the Meme to two granddaughters whom she loved very much, Morgan Danielle Dennis and Mattie Jean Dennis. She is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2011,at 1:30 p.m. at Pentecostals of the Gulf Coast, 1907 Popps Ferry Road, Biloxi, MS 39532, where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
