Karen Marie Sherwood

Mrs. Karen Marie Sherwood, 51, of Ocean Springs, MS died Saturday, April 16, 2005 in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Sherwood was a native of Niles, Ohio and had been a resident of Ocean Springs since 1992. She was a graduate of Howland High School Class of 1972 in Warren, Ohio and attended Kent State College. She was a homemaker and a member of Cedar Lake Christian Assembly. She served as vice president of the St. Andrews Ladies Association and Red Hats Ladies Society. Her husband and family credit their individual success to her love and support as a wife and mother. Survivors include her husband, Blair Sherwood; two sons, Jason Sherwood and his girlfriend, Dana Sleger, and Brandon Sherwood and his wife, Missy; her parents, Edward T. Lawrence and Nancy Lawrence; two sisters, Cindy Swartz of DeBary, FL and Bonnie Best of Grafton, Ohio and one brother, Edward Thomas Lawrence of Cortland, Ohio. Visitation will be Monday, April 18, 2005, from 6 to 8 p. m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs. Funeral Services will be 10 a. m. Tuesday at Cedar Lake Christian Assembly where friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. till service time.
