Karl Lewis Woodrig

Karl Lewis Woodrig, 75, of Gautier, MS passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2010. Mr. Woodrig was former manager of American Motor Inn in Pascagoula and manager of Public Housing in Pascagoula and Moss Point. Karl touched the lives of all that knew him and loved him. He was a kind, gentle man with a beautiful heart and will never be forgotten. He previously served in the US Army as a medic and was of Lutheran faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman Christian and Ruth Woodrig; sister, Doris Bender and step-daughter, Glenda Elliott. Survivors include his loving wife of twenty-eight years, Dolores V. Woodrig; step-daughters, Carolyn (David) Nash of Pascagoula, Cindy (Dennis) Shore of Louisville, KY; fourteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one niece; two nephews; relatives and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 6, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home with a 2:30 Graveside Service at Biloxi National Cemetery.
