Katelyn A. Saucier

It is with profound sadness that the family of Katelyn A. “Katie” Saucier announce her unfortunate passing. Katie passed away while surrounded by her loving family on February 8, 2023 after a short yet courageous battle with adrenal cancer. She was 33 years old.

Katelyn is survived by her two loving parents, David Saucier and his wife, MJ Saucier of Smithdale, MS and her mother, Sally Saucier; her grandmother, Marybeth Guyton; her two siblings, Taylor Saucier and Tarah Ferdinand; her husband, Chris Toncrey; her niece and nephew, Ella and Grayson, both of which she adored; and her significant other of several years, Ricky Pelous. Katie was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ralph and Shirley Saucier.

Katie was an avid sportswoman, markswoman, prolific angler and hunter and enjoyed any and all activities outdoors. Spending time with family and friends and being Aunt Katie to her niece and nephew Ella and Grayson were some of her greatest joys. Her love of cooking led her to a career in the culinary arts attaining Chef level 2 proficiency.

To know Katie was to love her, taken from us too soon, the world be a dimmer place without her, but the knowledge that we will be together again gives hope.
