Katherine Christeen Tenhet Dozier

Katherine Christeen Tenhet Dozier passed away peacefully at home on June 29, 2023.

She was born on September 16, 1941 in Maben, MS. She was a graduate of French Camp. Afterward, she joined the Air Force. While serving at Eglin Air Force Base, she met the love of her life, Marvin Allen Dozier, Jr. They wed in 1961. He preceded her in death in 2010.

Katherine is survived by her sisters, Ann Bush and Angy (John) Clower; sons, James (Tina) Dozier and Grady (Debbie) Dozier; seven grandchildren, Rebeca (Chris) Crosier, Sarah (James) Dillon, Michael Dozier, Amy (Donnie) Nealand, Nathan (Courtney) Dozier, Racheal Parris, and Joshua Dozier; twelve great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and her beloved chihuahuas, Precious and Elvis.

A visitation will be held from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Vancleave, MS. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 pm at Biloxi National Cemetery.
