Katherine Louise Pylate Krohn

Mrs. Katherine Louise Pylate Krohn, 77, of Latimer, died Thursday, July 22, 2010, in Ocean Springs. Katherine was born in Biloxi on December 23, 1932, and had resided in the Latimer Community since the early 60's. She was a homemaker. Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Raymond Krohn; her beloved grandson, Jason Raymond Krohn; her parents, William "Bill" Samuel Pylate, Sr., and Emma Eldora Ryan Pylate; brothers, Wayne and Blaine Pylate; and sister, Gail Moody. Survivors include her son, Clayton Raymond Krohn and his wife, Darlene; daughter, Kathleen Abraham and her husband, Mark; and her grandson, Matthew Krohn, all of Latimer; her brothers, William "Billy" S. Pylate, Jr. of Texas, Ronald Pylate of Latimer; and her sisters, Gladys Perry of Olive Branch, MS, Betty Johnson of Baton Rouge, LA, Sandra Scarborough and Lorraine Pylate of Latimer. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, July 26, 2010, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs where friends may visit from 9 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery. Pallbearers are her nephews, Daniel Krohn, Kenny Krohn, Steve Krohn, A.J. Krohn, Dean Moody and Kenny Honeycutt.
