Katherine Noble Gilbert

Katherine Lister Noble Gilbert, affectionately known as "KK" passed away Monday, May 31, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in 1942 to and preceded in death by her parents, Bazil Noble, Jr. and Madelle Noble. She was also preceded in death by her grandmother, Kate Lister Williams and nephew, Ricky Peden, Jr. Always drawn to the water, her early years were filled with water ballet, lifegarding at the Old Edgewater Hotel and summer jobs at Marine Life. She was also a registered diver. She lived on the water in Barataria, LA and worked for Snelling Employment for 35 years before retiring to Gulfport. She is survived by a son, Jim Hadfield of Houston, TX; a daughter, Patsy Robin of Chalmette, LA; five grandchildren; one brother, John Noble of Gulfport; two sisters, Sandra Fredericks (Steve) of Long Island, NY and Penny Loveless (Larry) of Gulfport; a niece, Ashley Peden Kremer of Gulfport; and three nephews, Adam Noble of Long Beach, John (Diana) Fredericks, and Justin (Amanda) Fredericks, all of New York City, Ny.
