Katie Quave Jackson

Mrs. Katie Quave Jackson, age 94, of Vancleave, MS, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015. Mrs. Jackson was born in Vancleave and remained a lifelong resident of the coast. She worked for many years as a seamstress at E.R. Moore in Ocean Springs and doing alterations at Keesler for the servicemen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin W. Jackson Jr, parents, David and Laura Quave and eleven siblings. Survivors include two daughters, Zelma Jackson (Tommy) Gollott and Kathy Jackson Benezue, a son, Irvin W. (Sheryl) Jackson III and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 30, from 10am ~ 11am, with an 11am chapel service, all at the Vancleave Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
