Katie Louise Thompson passed from this world peacefully on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 7:05 A.M. During her lifetime she was a loving mother and a successful businesswoman. Survivors include her son, Sip Daniels of Gulfport; six sisters, Juanita Morgan of Wiggins, Norma Magee of Tucson, AZ, Virginia Collars of Wiggins, Rachel O’Neal Cooley of Wiggins, Patsy Pannell of Gulfport, Peggy Legate of Point, TX; and one brother, Keith Rawls of Big Level, Perkinston. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Charlie and Lula Rawls of Big Level; a brother, Virgil Rawls and many loving and caring relatives. Her family appreciates the loving care given by the physicians, nurses and staff at Garden Park Hospital and Select Speciality Hospital. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Big Level Baptist Church Cemetery in Wiggins. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Big Level Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1346 City Bridge Road, Wiggins, MS 39577.
