Kay Frances Gennarelli

Mrs. Kay DeGeorge Gennarelli, age 63, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Wednesday, May 10, 2006, in Pascagoula, MS. Kay was a resident of Ocean Springs for thirty eight years. She was very active in all sports her children and grandchildren participated in, including girls softball, boys little league baseball, basketball and boxing. She enjoyed working in the concession stands and was a volunteer sponsor for girls cheerleading. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Paul DeGeorge and Frances Runfalo DeGeorge, and a sister Carol Sue Gabrich. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Anthony "Tony" Gennarelli, Sr. of Ocean Springs, two sons, Anthony "Tony" (Kim) Gennarelli, Jr. of Ocean Springs, MS., and David (Angela) Gennarelli of Vancleave, MS., a sister, Laura Creel of Biloxi, MS., two brothers, Larry DeGeorge and Gary DeGeorge, both of Ocean Springs, MS., and five grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, May 12, 2006, from 6-9 PM, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Saturday, May 13, there will be a 2 PM chapel service in the funeral home.
