Keith Daniel Byrd

Keith Daniel Byrd, 74 of Biloxi, MS passed away on May 12, 2023.

Keith was a native of the Coast and a longtime resident of Biloxi.  He was a graduate of Biloxi High School and was a carpenter and handyman for most of his working career.  He enjoyed fishing and woodworking and was a long-standing member of the Biloxi Elks Lodge #606 and was honored in 2010 as Elk of the Year.  In his later years, he enjoyed making wooden boxes and throwing darts with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph E. Byrd and mother, Shirley M. Byrd.

He is survived by his daughter, Sarah D. Schmidt (David), Vancleave, and three grandchildren, Owen, Asa, and Cora.  He is also survived by his brother, Joseph S. (Scott) Byrd, Woolmarket.

Visitation for friends and family will be from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue in Biloxi. Memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m.
