Kenneth Bryan Monroe, age 36, of Gulfport died Monday April 14, 2008. He was a native and life long resident of Gulfport. Bryan was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Gulfport and was in sales at Coast Cycle World. Bryan's hobbies included karate, riding motorcycles, and listening to music. He served as a deputy for Harrison County Sheriff's Department with Joe Price.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Debbie Ladner Monroe; and grandparents, Craig M. and Julia Monroe, Sr. and Norman and Neldra Ladner.
He is survived by his long time companion, Nelda Camp of Gulfport; his father, Kenneth B. Monroe and wife, Patty of Ocean Springs; three brothers, Norman Monroe and wife, Dori, Scott Monroe and wife, Stephanie, and Jeremy Monroe and wife, Brandi, all of Gulfport; two step-sisters, Melanie Paolucci and husband, Amelio of Denver, CO and Tiphanie Whatley of Gautier; two step-brothers, William Whatley of Mobile and Jason Whatley and wife, Erika of Springfield, LA.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 16, 2008 from 5 until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7:00 at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home 15th Street, Gulfport. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church in Gulfport where friends may visit from 10 a.m. until the service. Interment will follow at Evergreen Gardens Cemetery, Gulfport.
