Kenneth David Balius

Mr. Kenneth David Balius, 46, of Gautier, MS, died Saturday, June 30, 2007, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Balius was born in Biloxi, MS and remained a lifelong resident of the coast. He was a 1978 graduate of D'Iberville High School and employed with Lowes in Pascagoula. He was a Nascar fan and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mr. Balius was preceded in death by a brother, Conrad Paul Balius, Jr. Survivors include his son, Kenneth J. Balius of Gautier; his parents, Ione Knebel Balius of Hattiesburg, MS, and Conrad Balius, Sr. of Biloxi; two sisters, Paula Stone and her husband, Charles, of Hattiesburg, and Marie Postlewait and her husband, Kerry, of Biloxi; two brothers, Donald Balius and his wife, Barbara, and Jeffrey "Joey" Balius and his wife, Rachael, all of Biloxi, and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation is Thursday, July 5, 2007, from 6 until 8 p.m. with recitation of the Rosary at 6:30 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi A Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D'Iberville where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
