Kenneth Nichols

February 21, 1961 — May 25, 2024

Vancleave

Kenneth Nichols, 63 passed away in May 25, 2024. He was involved in an auto accident on May 14, 2024 and passed 11 days later.

Ken was born February 21, 1961 in Pontiac, MI to Robert and Beatrice Nichols. He was one of 9 children. Ken joined the US Army and served our Country in Germany for numerous years and spent many years in Germany after his service. He was employed at Lowe’s in Fort Gratiot, MI for several years, then transferred to Lowe’s in D’Iberville, MS, where he made so many friends. He left a loving smile with everyone when he transferred to his current job. There is absolutely no one that did not love him. He resided in Vancleave, MS, where he loved his little patch of God’s country.  I do not know a living soul that is more prepared to meet the Lord than Ken. He loved the Lord Jesus and made sure everyone knew it. Both verbally and the way he lived his life. He attended Southern Gate Church in D’Iberville. Ken was not blessed with children in his life, but he had upwards of 60 nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews that loved and adored him. He was the biggest tease with them, always making them laugh. He will be so sorely missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Robert and Charles; and his sister, Marie.

Ken is survived by his brother, John; and his sisters, Charlene, Debbie (Dave), Marilyn and Darlene.

Ken has been cremated and his ashes will be returned to Port Huron, MI and placed in a columbarium in Woodland Cemetery in Port Huron Township.
