Mr. Kenneth Ray Creel, 57, of Biloxi, MS, passed away, Saturday, September 19, 2009, at his home, which was built by Kenny and the help of a steady stream of friends.
Kenny was a proud native and lifelong resident of Biloxi, but as he would state "I'm from Back Bay". He was of the catholic faith and an employee of Northrop-Grumman for the past 36 years. Twenty plus of those years, Kenny was their "Lock and Key" man. His hobbies were numerous, but his favorites were boating, fishing, woodworking, camping (only when forced by his wife), helping friends and spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, Norman "Blackie", Sr. and Ruby Creel; brother, Norman "Chin" Creel, Jr. and "Gods Little Angels", niece, Dawn Marie Creel and Nephew, Rodney Creel, Jr.
Kenny's loving memory will always remain in the hearts of his survivors; his beloved wife of 38 years, Cathy Leleaux Creel of Biloxi; daughters, Marie Creel of Biloxi and Angela Creel Galle' and "Weldon" both of Biloxi; nephew/son, Jason G. Leleaux of Biloxi; sisters, Linda Creel Dodson, Dixie Creel Bellman and her husband, Chris, all from Biloxi; brother, Rodney Creel, Sr., and wife, Linda of Vancleave; granddaughter, Kaitlyn S. Galle'; grandsons, Christian O. Galle' and Abrey J. Aucion all from Biloxi; sisters and brothers-in-law, T. J. and Cindy L. Testman of Biloxi and Michael and Melody Bowen of Byhalia, MS; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held for Kenny at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 675 Howard Avenue, in Biloxi on
Saturday, September 26, 2009, at 12 noon. Friends may visit from 9 a.m. until service time.
The family wishes to give a special thank you to Dr. Reza Motakhaveri, and all of Kenny's friends for cards, calls, support and visits. Many thanks also for the support of his friends and co-workers of Northrop-Grumman.
