Kevin Patrick Barry, 45, passed away at home, surrounded by family on July 11, 2023. He was a fun-loving, competitive, and avid outdoorsman, known for his love and devotion to his family. 
Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Barry; his son, Jacob Barry; his loving parents, Wilfred "Willie" Barry and Sharon Barry; his grandmother, Rita Allen; his siblings, Jennifer and Mike Catchot and their children, Darin and Sara, Maureen and Matt Gerald and their children, Nathan and Courtney, Ryan, and Olivia. He was also a loving son-in-law to Lynn Harrington. Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents, David Ralph Allen, Sr., Wilfred P. Barry, Sr., and Evelyn Barry; and his father-in-law, James Harrington. Kevin is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
After his studies at the University of South Alabama and LSU, he pursued a career as a Marine Biologist at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
A dedicated member of the Mosaic Church, Kevin found solace and strength in his faith. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and actively participating in church activities.
A Celebration of Life for Kevin Barry will take place on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 4:00 pm at 1900 Summerlin Bayou Road, Vancleave, MS 39565. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Lord is My Help.
Kevin's zest for life, love for his family, and passion for the outdoors will be deeply missed. May he rest in eternal peace.
