Kim Robert Long

Mr. Kim Robert Long, 68, of Gulfport, MS passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at his home.

Kim was born on May 11, 1956 in Battle Creek, MI to Harry and Margaret Long. He served as an Advanced Equipment Operator and instructor at the Naval Construction Battalion Center in Gulfport, MS. Kim was a Seabee in the U.S. Navy and retired after 20 years of service. He was a long time Harley Davidson rider and worked for Mississippi Coast Harley Davidson for many years. Kim spent the last 10 years enjoying his retirement with his loving wife. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Margaret Long.

Kim’s survivors include his wife, Betty Jo Long; his daughter and son-in-law, Shelley and Brian Chennault; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Rylee and Bryce Chennault; his brother, John Long; and his pet, Sammie.

Kim will be laid to rest at Biloxi National Cemetery.
