Kristine Collom

Mrs. Kristine Anderson Collom, age 58, of North Biloxi, MS., died Friday, August 14, 2009, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Collom was a native of Michigan and a resident of the coast since 1974. She was formerly employed as a hairdresser at Headhunters Salon in Pascagoula and was active in the Federation of Democratic Women where she was a former past president. Mrs. Collom was a member of Heritage UMC in D'Iberville where she was very active in the church nursery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas A. Collom, her parents, Helen Louise and Wallace Carl Anderson, and a sister, Barbara Jean Anderson. Survivors include a daughter, Hillary (Brian) Anseman of Ocean Springs, MS., sister, Carol Egnatuk, three brothers, Leonard (Patty) Anderson, Doug (Ruth Ann) Anderson and Dave (Cheryl) Anderson, and two grandchildren, Jakob Trent and Mia Kate. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 20, 2009, from 5-8 PM at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Friday, August 21, 2009, there will be a 12 Noon chapel service in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery.
