Lara Hall, of Gulfport, Mississippi died Sunday, September 27, 2009 in
Gulfport Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Los Angeles, CA, October 22, 1967 to Mark and Melodie Cronenberg.
Lara was a talented actor, director, writer and artist. Throughout Lara’s entire life she held a passion for the theatre. She took particular joy in directing many of her favorite works including “To Kill a Mockingbird”,
“Rocky Horror”, “Hedwig and the Angry Inch”(which was a benefit for Hurricane Katrina), and “A Raisin in the Sun”, all ground-breaking works that helped to raise community awareness.
She was an avid lover of life. Suffering from health issues her entire life, she never slowed down. Lara always had the outlook that she would rule her problems and not let them rule her.
Her ultimate dedication was in her role as a mother and wife. Lara and her son Wyatt, who is studying to become a Rabbi, had an enviable relationship. Lara and her devoted husband Ron were married for over 20
years.
Lara was caring woman, dearly loved by everyone whose life she touched.
Lara is survived by her husband Ron, her son Wyatt; her mother Melodie; her father Mark; her mother-in-law and father-in-law Mary and Ron;
her brother Nick and his sons Nigel and Oliver; her sister April and her son Alex.
A service will be held graveside at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Southern Memorial Park located on Highway 90 in Biloxi.
