Larry Lawrence, age 58, was embraced into the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 15, 2011, from his home in Woolmarket, Mississippi.
Larry was born on August 8, 1952. He worked in his family business until the age of 40, at which time he returned to school to become a Registered Nurse. He was employed as an RN at the Biloxi VA for 13 years and as an ICU nurse for the past 10 years. Larry loved life; he never had a wasted day. He loved the outdoors: gardening, raising chickens, woodworking, building, working with concrete, and any other project that he could do outside. He was also an accomplished musician, and loved playing music with his children. Larry played rhythm and lead guitar, and bass guitar masterfully. He adored his wife and children, and loved spending all of his time with his family. He was loved, cherished, and honored as a husband, father, grandfather, and brother.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Sandra; daughter, Cassie; son, Daniel; son and daughter-in-law, David and Nicole; granddaughter, Lexi; brother, Robert (Dana) Lawrence; sister, Carrie (William) Ladner; sister, Judy Welch; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Euginia Lawrence.
Visitation will be on Monday, April 18, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Both will be held at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Biloxi. Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
