Larry Puzz

Mr. Larry H. Puzz, Sr., age 74, of D'Iberville, MS., died Sunday, January 22, 2006, in Biloxi, MS. Mr. Puzz was born on January 11, 1932, and was a lifelong resident of the community. He was a member of the Notre Dame Booster Club, St. Theresa's Fathers' Club, and member and usher of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mr. Puzz was a coach and manager in the D'Iberville Little League and the D'Iberville Babe Ruth League. He also retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding. He was preceded in death by his son, Mark, parents, Andrew and Gertrude Puzz, two brothers, Donald and Andrew, and a sister, Dale. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Dolores Fountain Puzz, of D'Iberville, three children, Larry Jr. (Rhonda) of Biloxi, MS., Susan (Gerald) Burdine of D'Iberville, MS., and Darrin (Elizabeth) of Pascagoula, MS., three sisters, Margaret Rosetti of Biloxi, MS., Violet Bowen of Memphis, TN., and Iris Vierling of Biloxi, MS., grandchildren, Holly (Patrick) Stafford, Dawn Burdine, Brett Burdine, Lucy Cannon, Stacey (Johnny) Creel, Kristi Puzz and Emily Puzz, and two great-grandchildren, Stephanie Creel and Ryan Cannon. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 25, 2006, from 9:00 AM - 10:45 AM, with a 10:45 AM Rosary, and an 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial, all at Nativity B.V.M. Cathedral in Biloxi.
