Larry Wayne Reid

Larry Wayne Reid, 74 of Lucedale, MS passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018 in Mobile, AL. Mr. Reid was born in Charlotte, NC to Ralph Reid and Mildred (Holley) Reid. He was a resident of Lucedale, MS for eighteen years. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. and a member of the American Legion. Among these dedications, he had also enjoyed the freedom of life on the road as an Over-The-Road Commercial Truck Driver. Mr. Reid is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Sharon Reid; daughters, Mary Reid Jones, and Adrianne (Scott) Kuntz; sons, William R. Reid, and Billy (Kelly) Reid; mother, Mildred Reid; sister, Gay (Fred) Hill; and brothers, Ricky (Sue) Reid, and Jeff (Gail) Reid; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Friends may visit from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. in the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home Tuesday, May 15, 2018. A funeral service will follow immediately afterwards in the chapel. Interment will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery with a 2:30 P.M. arrival. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) organization.
