Larry Extel Sullivan

Larry Extel Sullivan, 74, of Gulfport, MS passed away Monday, October 29, 2018 in Gulfport. Mr. Sullivan was born December 17, 1943 in Laurel, MS to Extel L. and Lee Faye Sullivan. He graduated from Biloxi High School and the University of Southern Mississippi where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business. Mr. Sullivan was honorably discharged from the U.S. Coast Guard Reserves. He and his wife were owners of Bella Grace Gifts in Gulfport for over 30 years as well as Hail Mary Gifts, formerly Sue’s Hallmark, in Long Beach. Mr. Sullivan enjoyed fishing, woodworking and especially spending time with his family. He was an avid New Orleans Saints fan and a member of St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Ronald Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan’s survivors include his wife, Penny Lemoine Sullivan; his children, Chad Sullivan, Shae Sullivan and Krista Goodhart; and his grandchildren, Cole, Riley and Bella Goodhart and Noah, Lucy, Livie and Conner Sullivan. In lieu of flowers the family prefers to have masses offered in Larry’s memory. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. James Catholic Church on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 12:00 pm. Friends may visit from 11:00 am until mass time. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street in Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
