Larry Wayne Holt

Mr. Larry Wayne Holt, age 68, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Wednesday, December 5, 2007, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Holt was a resident of the community since 1970. He had been employed with Ingalls Shipbuilding since 1970 with thirty years of service. He served as President and on the Board of Directors of the Ingalls Management Association . He was a charter member of the Elks B.P.O.E Lodge #2501, and served as parade captain, a member of Gulf Hills Golf Club, and was a member of Lemoyne Boulevard Baptist Church. Mr. Holt was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Essie Holt, seven brothers and one sister. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Sharon B. Holt, one daughter, Shana Holt, six sisters, Linda Calderone, Marsha Baeir, Cindy Barnes, Sheila Holt, Dianne Ludwig, and Glenda Gayle Mayo, and a brother, Freddie Holt. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 8, 2007, from 12 Noon - 1 PM, with a 1 PM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
