Laura Hendon

Laura Hendon, age 59, of Gulfport, died Wednesday, September 6, 2006 in Gulfport. She was born in McComb and was a long time resident of the Gulf Coast and also spent many years in Hot Springs, AR. Laura worked in real estate for the past 35 years and was the office manager for South 2 Real Estate at the time of her death. Laura was preceded in death by her mother, Anita Ward Hendon; her father, Larry Hendon; her sister, Cheryl Hendon Castiglia; and her true love, Perry Roberts. She leaves behind, a niece Shannon Glidewell Hixson; a great-nephew, Zachary Hixson; the following aunts and uncles, Glenda and Robert Bullock, Doris and Jewel Rushing, Billy Sam and Patricia Ward, Nashie Ward; numerous cousins and loving friends. The funeral service will be Friday, September 8, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport where friends may visit from 1:30 p.m. until the service.
