Laurence Viator

Mrs. Laurence Lachuassee Viator, 102, of D'Iberville, MS passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2007. Born in Erath, LA, she had been a resident of the Gulf Coast for the past 75 years. Mrs. Viator was the former owner of Viator's grocery on Division St. in Biloxi. A former member of St. Louis Catholic Church and was currently a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. She was also a former resident of Gabriel Manor. Mrs. Viator is preceded in death by her husband, J.A. Viator; fifteen siblings; one grandson; a daugher, Doris Brown; two sons, Jake Viator and Phillip Viator. Mrs. Viator is survived by her two daughters, Mrs. Grace Werkau of Biloxi and Mrs. Regina (Hanzalik)Fortenberry (Lloyd) of Wiggins; two sons, Warren D. Viator (Anna Mae) of Waveland and James "Donald" Viator (Mabel) of Biloxi; a daugher-in-law, BeatriceViator; twenty seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, October 15, 2007 at 1:00 pm at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Friends may visit one hour prior to Mass.
