Lavalle Crosby Watson

Sgt Lavalle Crosby Watson, USAF Retired, 59, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Thursday, December 9, 2010, in Biloxi. Sgt. Watson was born in Chicago, Illinois and had been a resident of Ocean Springs for the past 16 years. He attended the Univerity of the Philippines and the University of Southern Mississippi where he earned a Bachelor's Degree. He was a retired U. S. Air Force Veteran and a member of the USBC (United States Bowling Congress). He was employed with the Isle of Capri Casino as an EMT/Security officer. Sgt. Watson was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Watson. He is survived by his wife, Maria Theresa Watson; daughters, Iris Watson and Piper Watson; his mother, Ethel Watson; sisters, Cynthia Watson and Kimberli Johnson; and brothers, Araujo Watson, Dorando Watson, Kaseen Watson, and Horatio Watson. Visitation is Tuesday, December 14, 2010, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors.
