Sgt Lavalle Crosby Watson, USAF Retired, 59, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Thursday, December 9, 2010, in Biloxi. Sgt. Watson was born in Chicago, Illinois and had been a resident of Ocean Springs for the past 16 years. He attended the Univerity of the Philippines and the University of Southern Mississippi where he earned a Bachelor's Degree. He was a retired U. S. Air Force Veteran and a member of the USBC (United States Bowling Congress). He was employed with the Isle of Capri Casino as an EMT/Security officer.
Sgt. Watson was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Watson. He is survived by his wife, Maria Theresa Watson; daughters, Iris Watson and Piper Watson; his mother, Ethel Watson; sisters, Cynthia Watson and Kimberli Johnson; and brothers, Araujo Watson, Dorando Watson, Kaseen Watson, and Horatio Watson.
Visitation is Tuesday, December 14, 2010, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors.
