Lavelle Mikolacjyck, 78, died September 18, 2015. She was born in Big Spring, TX and re-cently lived in Orange County, CA with her family. Lavelle worked 20 years for the Military Base Exchange in Biloxi. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Costa Mesa, CA and was very active. Lavelle enjoyed socializing with her friends at the Fountain Valley Senior Center playing Bingo and Bunco. Her hobbies included sewing, gardening, and crafts. Lavelle also loved to play board games with her family which included Scrabble and Yahtzee. Lavelle was a widow and her husband, Retired Staff Sergeant Stephen Mikolacjyck passed away in 1990.
She is survived by her two daughters, Cynthia Lundy and Deborah Davis. Immediate family members include: son-in-law Warren Davis, Jr.; grandson War¬ren Davis, III and his fiancé Therese Dimaano; granddaughter Amanda Thorne and husband Bryan Thorne and; two great-grandchildren, Forrest Lundy and Baylee Thorne.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2015, all at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Southern Memorial Park in Biloxi.
