Leah Louise Walden Triplett, 50, of Biloxi, MS died on Sunday, April 4, 2010. Mrs. Triplett was born in New Orleans, LA on March 1, 1960. She was a graduate of Gulfport High School and had an Associate Degree in applied science in human services from MGCCC. Mrs. Triplett was an Ordained Minister. She enjoyed anything to do with weddings and being creative with scrapbooking. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Triplett is preceded in death by her father, Ralph Newman Combs; adopted father, Homer Walden, Sr. and son, Christopher Michael Walden. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Wayne Triplett; mother, Peggy Ann Combs Walden; children, Angela Marie and Bradley Joseph Melton, Christel Dawn and Josh McCord Mellinger, Jonathon David and Virginie Maria Triplett, Justin Wayne and Crystal Gail Triplett, Sarah Anne and Jesse Abraham Bridges, Joseph Allen and Jessica May Triplett; brothers and sisters, Florence Ann and Bryan Lowell Nielsen, Homer and Michele Ann Walden, Jr., and Nora Edna and Jeffery Karl Brazil; grandchildren, Ian McCord Mellinger, Addison Elise Mellinger, Ella Joy Mellinger, Scarlett Renee Triplett, Violett Nicole Triplett, Lily Grace Bridges, Emma Faith Bridges; 8 nieces, 9 nephews and 8 great-nieces, 4 great-nephews and many friends and loved ones. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Biloxi. Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery. A memorial account has been established at Hancock Bank. Thank you to all who shared in Leah's life.
