Mr. Leeosie "Leo" Freeman, 68, of Biloxi, MS, died Thursday, June 10, 2010, in Biloxi.
Mr. Freeman was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. He retired from the Biloxi Fire Department in 1982 after 20 years of service. He was of the Catholic faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lidier and Elsie Switzer Freeman. Survivors include his wife, Elke B. Freeman of Biloxi; daughters, Denise Applegate of D'Iberville, Carol Williams of Biloxi, Erika (David) John of Buford, SC, and Michelle (Dan) Ricci of Norfolk, VA; sons, James "Jimmy" E. (Carolyn Dee) Freeman of Woolmarket, and Donald (Elizabeth) Noble, Sr., of Biloxi; sisters, Dorothy (Dalton) Hester of Port Charlotte, FL, Lois Smith of St. Martin, and Rosemary Catchot of Ocean Springs; brother, Ray Freeman of Ocean Springs; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; his former wife, Roselyn A. Freeman of D'Iberville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Biloxi Fire Department, Porter Avenue, Biloxi, MS 39530
A memorial service will be Monday, June 14, 2010, at 7 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time.
