Len Joseph Pitre

Mr. Len Joseph Pitre, 64, of Waynesboro, MS, died Saturday, July 23, 2011, in Biloxi. Mr. Pitre was born in Galliano, LA and was a graduate of Nicholls State University. He was a U. S. Marine Corps Veteran of Vietnam and a Catholic. Len was a self-employed engineer after he retired from UNOCAl Oil Corporation with 32 years of service. He was currently serving as president of the board at Chateau LeGrande Condominiums, 1130 Beach Blvd. in Biloxi where he had a second home. Len was preceded in death by his son, Mark Pitre. He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Patsy "Patty" Jones Pitre; son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Angie Pitre; parents Eugene and Mercedes Pitre; sister, Lenette Pitre; brother and sister-in-law, Carroll and Mary Pitre; grandsons, Stephen Pitre and Chris Guidry; three nieces and one nephew; four great nieces and two great nephews. Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, 2011, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will be Wednesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Gailleno, LA. SEMPER FI
