Mr. Lennis Leo Coleman, 78, who was born June 24, 1930 died Tuesday, January 20, 2009 in Biloxi.
Mr. Coleman was proudly born and raised in Biloxi to James Preston Coleman, Sr. and Hattie Louvenia Coleman. He was a journeyman pipefitter who traveled the country working. Mr. Coleman retired from Northrup Gruman. He served his country in the Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Coleman leaves his earthly bonds to join his angel in heaven, his beloved wife of over 45 years, Mrs. Jeanette Fae Coleman. He was also preceded in death by his parents, James Preston Coleman, Sr. and Hattie Louvenia Coleman, a daughter, Sharon Annette Monk, a grandson, Roy E. Monk, Jr. and a granddaughter, Julie Lynn Creel.
Survivors include three sons, Leo Coleman of Biloxi, Lance Savage of D'Iberville, Mike Savage of Houston, TX, one son-in-law, Roy E. Monk, Sr., six grandsons, two granddaughters, brother, Wayne Coleman, sisters, Mary Cruthirds, Jean Harris, Brenda McCormick and many loving great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and other family members.
Visitation is Saturday, January 24, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, Biloxi.
