Leo Robert Auger

Mr. Leo R. Auger, age 75, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Friday, August 5, 2011, in Ocean Springs. Mr. Auger was born in Biddeford, ME. on October 2, 1935, and was a longtime resident of the coast. He was a Retired M/Sgt. in the U.S. Air Force and a Keesler A.F.B. volunteer for 17 years. He was an avid bowler and was a part of many leagues. Mr. Auger was preceded in death by his son, Alan Auger, grandson, Zachary Cupit, parents, Desire Auger and Leila Auger, four brothers and three sisters. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Carol Auger, daughter, Barbara (Buddy) Cupit, two sons, Robert (Cherie) Auger and Douglas (Natalie) Auger, one brother, four sisters, grandchildren, Anne Marie, Robert, Kaitlyn and Brian Auger, Celena Cupit, Tony DeRosa, and a great-grandson, Tristan. Visitation will be on Monday, August 8, 2011, from 12:30 pm until 1:00 pm, with a 1:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial, all at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
