Leona Simmons Farrell

Leona Simmons Farrell, 81, of D'Iberville, MS passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 6, 2010. Mrs. Farrell was born in Vancleave and remained a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. She is preceded in death by her parents, McKinley Simmons and Annie Forehand Simmons; two sisters, Margaret Wallace and Rosa Babuchna; two brothers, Roy Simmons and Paul Simmons. Mrs. Farrell is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Frank Farrell; sister, Mary Parker of Ocean Springs; brother, James Simmons of Austin, TX; brother-in-law, Robert Farrell and wife, Betty of Huntsville, AL and numerous nieces and nephews. Thank you to Dr. Regina Mills and her nurse, Judy for all their help. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Both will be held at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Ave., Biloxi. Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
