Leonidas Dimitri Demetrakopoulos

Leonidas Dimitri Demetrakopoulos, 75, died Thursday, October 18, 2007 in Biloxi. Leonidas was a resident of the Gulf Coast for 10 years. He spent 23 years in New Orleans. Leonidas was an electrician and worked 20 years for Geo Source Corporation in New Orleans. He spent the last 10 years working in construction with his brother on the coast. He is preceded in death by his brothers: Pete and Steven Demetrakopoulos and his niece Nike Demetrakopoulos. Survivors include: his life companion, Margie Weston of Gulfport, sister, Angelina Stathoulopoulos of Athens, Greece and brother, John Demetrakopoulos of Biloxi, niece, Christina Demetrakopoulos Burkart and her husband David, great nephew, John-David Burkart of Biloxi. Service is Sunday, October 21, 2007, 2:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Friends may visit one hour prior to service. Interment in Biloxi City Cemetery.
