Leroy V. Baker, age 74, of Gulfport, MS, passed away peacefully at home, Sunday, November 3, 2013. He was a Gulfport native and a hardworking family man. He retired after over 20 years as a certified welder at Turnbull Enterprises in Gulfport. He was a man of many talents including, painting, carpentry, Ham radio operator among many other hobbies too numerous to list.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy V. and Leona L. Baker. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Barbara Jean Baker of Bruce, Ms, a Brother Larry, and Sister Linda both of Gulfport, 3 Children, Gary V. Baker, Amy Baker Noto, and Lisa & Jesse A. Tisdale, all of Gulfport, 7 Grandchildren, Jennifer, Ashley, Johnny, Alyson, Fallon, Heather and Korbon and 13 Great Grand Children with one due in April. Leroy was a devoted and loving Husband to Barbara, the love of his life and a wonderful and fun dad to us kids growing up.
He believed in Jesus Christ his Savior, and though he is gone from this earth and will be sadly missed, we take comfort knowing he is in the hands of God.

Visitation is Friday, November 8, 2013 from 3:30 pm until 5:00 pm at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Road, Gulfport.
