LeRoy S. Drake

LeRoy S. Drake, age 90, of Lynn Haven, Fl, died Thursday, November 9, 2006 in Panama City, FL. Mr. Drake was born in Detroit, MI and was a longtime resident of Gulfport before moving to Florida in 2000. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a charter member of Gulf Gardens Baptist Church in Gulfport. He was retired civil service at the V.A. Hospital and was a regular blood donor for the American Red Cross. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Sandefur Drake. He is survived by a daughter, Cheryl S. Drake of Ft. Myers, FL; three sons, Stephen Drake and wife, Dorothy of Wenachie, WA, David Drake and wife, Margie of Seminole, FL, and Keith Drake and wife, Sarah of Lynn Haven, FL; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, November 12, 2006 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport.
