Mr. Lesley M. "Jimmy" Cole, 77, of Biloxi, MS died Friday, May 13, 2005, in Biloxi.
Mr. Cole was a native of Mize, MS and had been a resident of Biloxi since 1953. He was a retired master sargeant of the U. S. Air Force with 2o years of service and served in Korea with General Curtis Lemae. He was also retired from civil service at Keesler AFB where he received many awards as an instructor. Mr. Cole was a deacon with the Bay Vista Baptist Church in Biloxi.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert D. and Meedie Stewart Cole and a brother, Carrol Cole.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Hazel V. Cole of Biloxi; two sons, Bobby Cole and his wife Debbie, and Craig Cole and his wife, Lorna; three sisters, Ouida Triplett of Covington, LA; Yama Pharries of Houston, TX and Bobbie Sullivan of Hattiesburg; one brother, Charles Cole of Mize, MS; sisters-in-law, Nicki Cole and Jeanette Barnes Crawford; brother-in-law, T. J. Barnes and his wife, Werlein; five grandchildren, Justin and his wife, Amanda, Matthew, Shane, Jarrod Paul and Laura and two great grandchildren, Braden and Jessica.
Visitation will be Monday, May 16, 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery with full military honors.
