Leslie Wayne Clark

Leslie Wayne Clark, 75, of D’Iberville, MS passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023. 

He was born in Greensburg, LA on December 10, 1947.  Leslie loved his family wholeheartedly, had an enormous number of friends and colleagues, and lived a very full life.  Leslie was a devoted husband and proud grandfather and most recently, great-grandfather.  He never missed the opportunity to talk about how proud he was of the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren.  He cherished the relationships he had with his friends and coworkers at the Silver Slipper.  Leslie will be most remembered for his generous nature, his love of LSU football, and the kind words said by all that knew him.

Leslie was preceded in death by his father, Loyce Clark and mother, Laura Bankston; his stepfather, Thomas Bankston; his sister, Peggy Blades.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Debbie, who he loved dearly; four daughters, Laura “Amy” (Jimmy) Sylvester, Julie (Clint) Acosta, Ann-Marie (Ryan) Knowles, and Tonianne Grafton; his grandchildren, Haley (Brian) Herry, Jordan Sylvester, Ella Newton, Maddie Porter, Evan Porter, Charlotte Grafton, and Sylvie Grafton; one great grandchild, Hayes Herry; his twin brother, Johnny Clark; several step grandchildren; and many cousins and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Road, Gulfport, MS.

Flowers may be sent to the funeral home.  An alternative option to flowers would be a donation to a charity Leslie often worked with, Kings Kitchen, 2005 Longfellow Road, Bay St. Louis, MS.
