Leslie Martine VanNorman Parchman

Leslie Van Norman Parchman, 46, of Biloxi passed away Friday, December 10, 2010. She was a loving mother, daughter and sister to her family and a dear friend to many. Leslie was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Van Norman, and her father, James Van Norman, both of Biloxi. She is survived by her sons, Matthew Kennon and Ryan Kennon, of Biloxi; brothers, Tracy (Beth) Van Norman of LaGrange, GA and Jarvis (Tracy) Van Norman of Pace, FL; step-mother, Dorothy Van Norman of Richardson, TX; step-sisters, Kathy Taylor of Bay St. Louis and Leigh Maxey of Garland, TX; nieces Jessica (Reid) Turner of Ochlocknee, GA, Susan (John) Lafferty of Greenock, Scotland, Christina Taylor of Biloxi and Jessica White and Hillary White of LaGrange, GA; nephews Matthew Van Norman of Pensacola, FL and Chase (Brittany) Taylor of Biloxi. Leslie was born in Asheville, NC but spent the majority of her life in Biloxi. She attended Biloxi City Schools and MS Gulf Coast Community College. She enjoyed a career in banking and finance spanning nearly 20 years, most recently with FEMA. Over the last several years she had developed a passion for fly fishing and hunting. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held Monday, December 13, 2010, at 12 p.m. at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Pass Road, in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time.
