Lettie Illich

Mrs. Lettie Illich,79, was carried home by her Angels to be with our Heavenly Father on December 7, 2006 in Biloxi, MS. Mrs. Illich was a wonderful wife, beloved mother, devoted grandmother and great-grandmother. She was born March 7, 1927 in Franklinton, Louisiana and had been a resident of Biloxi for approximately 60 years. Lettie was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony "PawPaw" Son Illich, parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fleet Haley; one sister, Gladys Cooper; three brothers, Jewel, Charles and Percy Haley, and a grand-daughter, Darlene Marie Cruthirds and baby Handler twins. Her love and many memories will be cherished by her son, Frederick Illich, of Biloxi; daughter Yvonne Trosclair and husband Terry of Biloxi,and daughter Mary Illich Cruthirds and husband Billy of Biloxi. Her grandchildren whom she cherished and loved very dearly are Jeanell Mcleod and husband Willie of Biloxi, Randy Cruthirds and wife Kim of Hattiesburg, MS; Gregory Illich and wife Sheila, Donnie Handler and wife Sherrie, T.J Trosclair, Ricky Handler, Brad Illich, and Christopher Emile all of Biloxi, and Troy Cruthirds and wife Leila of Mobile, AL. MawMaw Lettie also leaves behind her great-grandchildren Gracie Handler, Logan McCandless, Jeremy Mcleod all of Biloxi, Kelli, Courtney, and Tyler Cruthirds all of Hattiesburg and Brooke Cole of Birmingham, AL. Lettie was blessed to have such a large family of brothers and sisters. She left behind six sisters, Ebalee Lewko of Mandaville, LA; Lavonia Galle of Picayune, MS; Freddie Knight of Franklinton, LA and one brother Preston Haley of Franklinton, La. She will be sadly missed by many, but she will never be forgotten. Her love and memory will last and live forever in everyone's heart. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 10, 2006 at Bradford-O'Keefee Funeral Home, Howard Avenue from 5 until 9 Services will be held on Monday December 11, 2006 at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
