Levenia McGaugh, 97 years old, passed away Sunday, December 24, 2023 in D'Iberville, MS. She was born December 8, 1926 in Boyle, Mississippi to Joseph Rasberry and Annie B. Rasberry. Levenia graduated from Kilmichael High School in Kilmichael, MS. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing and time spent with family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Annie B. Rasberry; spouse, Floyd C.McGaugh; children, Kimbrell Bramlett Jr and Floy C. McGaugh; and siblings, Parvee Rasberry, Lamar Rasberry, Inez Eiland, Louise Tatum, and Maggie Osburn.
Survivors include her son, Sam McGaugh; daughters, Billie Scara, Nora Gildea and Peggy Holland (Brad); grandchildren, Andy Scara, Scarlett Delancey, Gene Gildea and Brandy Decausey; 9 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2023 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs, MS. Attendees will then proceed to Biloxi National Cemetery for a brief eulogy prior to interment beside her spouse, Floyd McGaugh. Family and friends will gather at Aunt Jenny's Restaurant in Ocean Springs for lunch and fellowship after departure from
the national cemetery.
Honoring Mrs. McGaugh as pallbearers are: Andy Scara, Gene Gildea, Jared Delancey, Ryder Gildea, Brad Holland, Charlie Clark and Doug Delancey (Alternate).
