Lilian Lister Johnson

Lilian Lister Johnson, 65 of Wiggins, MS, died April 30, 2006 at Memorial Hospital of Gulfport after a determined struggle with cancer. She was born in Manchester, England, but as a career military wife was very proud of becoming a U.S. Citizen. She was a longtime resident of Gulfport before moving to Wiggins. She was a realtor on the Gulf Coast for 20 years. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Edward and Jesse Doyle Lister of Manchester, England. She is survived by her husband Wayne Leroy Johnson of Wiggins, three sons Gary Michael Johnson his fiancée, Amanda Fitzwilliams of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Robert Anthony Johnson of Oakwood, GA, Michael Leroy Johnson his wife, Vicki Johnson of Wiggins, MS; a sister Ivy Montilla and her husband, Greg of Gulfport, MS; six grandchildren Justin, Christina, Zachary, Joshua, Alexis, Nicholas and two great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Justin; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lilian was a kind and supportive Mother and compassionate friend whose sense of humor and love will be missed by all. Visitation will be the evening of Tuesday, May 2, 2006, from 5-8 PM, at the Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Road, Gulfport. On Wednesday, May 3, 2006, from 10-10:30 AM friends may visit the family at the Funeral Home and interment will follow at 11 AM at the Biloxi National Cemetery with a graveside service.
